I attended the Calgel training on the 13th and 14th of September at the Hilton in Leicester. I just wanted to email Calgel and say thank you to Andrea for the amazing training she gave us. She was so professional and passionate about Calgel and that really reflected in the training she gave us. I passed the course which I'm ever so pleased about and it was all down to her knowledge and expertise. Calgel is a one of a kind product and I am definitely hooked!

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at Calgel for the fantastic job they are doing from my point of view. I work from home in a busy nail business, and although I see a lot of ladies daily, they rely on me for inspiration for new ideas. Unfortunately, because I am not in a salon environment I do not have the privilege of getting ideas from other technicians as they work.



What I really appreciate about Calgel is the fact that, even though I have not been using Calgel for too long, I really feel as if I am important to your business. I really appreciated the call from Robyn after the last Nail Show, - I don't think you had a stand there, but Robyn called to see if she could assist with anything and to ask if I had a wish list from Calgel what it would it be. It really was most pleasant to think that I could possibly ask for something, and my request would even be considered.


I am sure that I am a very small spoke in the big Calgel wheel, but if you take care of all the small spokes, hopefully we can all grow to be big spokes in the Calgel wheel.

Keep up the good work and customer service. It is so refreshing in these times to be appreciated, no matter how small the order is. Who knows maybe one day I could be a big part of Calgel.

"After having numerous problems with my existing soak off gel, I took it upon myself to find a gel to suit the needs of my clients.

All I had every heard about Calgel was that they were the poor relation to another soak off gel company. As I was already having problems with my current supplier and was told they worked the same way, I didn’t take it upon myself to pursue it any further.

I was looking for a soak off gel that would produce thin and natural looking nails. I also wanted a low odour system with a vast range of semi permanent colours. Calgel offered me all this.

After an initial conversation with Chris I still wasn’t convinced. After receiving an information pack, I decided to go see for myself. I popped along for a “try before you buy” session with Robyn and boy I was sold. I was shown a clear overlay, french pink & white, french tipped nail and a coloured overlay. I was allowed to have a play with the gel and I did. I’fe never “tried before you buy” and to be honest after a huge start up cost with my previous supplier I would not of taken that step again. This enabled me to see for myself and use it myself before taking the plunge.

Calgel gave me the opportunity to sample their products with no pressure or commitment. I came away feeling pleasantly surprised and convinced Calgel was the way forward.

You only need one gel for everything, I was amazed. I had been using 4 different gels and with Calgel you only needed one. The finish was amazing and so easy to work with. Sculptures looked far better, as the gel I had been using before was a green colour. The strength was remarkable and I really couldn't’t believe that a gel could be as strong as liquid and powder. That day I purchased my overlay kit and have not looked back.

I have placed numerous orders since then and have had queries and problems that I have had dealt with efficiently and quickly. I haven’t felt like the person on the other end of the phone can’t wait to get off it. Their customer service is second to none. They also do great offers and multi-buys on a numerous different product lines (which is what us techs are looking for) and they tend to be continuous instead of seasonal, which is a bonus.

Calgel is in no way anyone’s poor relation. They are in a class of their own."

"I've been visiting a professional for the last 3 months and am DELIGHTED with the effect Calgel has had on my nails. They are now strong and healthy and I don't need to hide them under coloured polish.

I had soft, flaky nails forever. The only way to keep them looking reasonable was to cover them with coloured varnish, which was not very practical, to say the least considering that I was a ward nurse.
Products available at chemists did not help at all. I wasted a lot of money trying different things. However, since using Calgel my nails are now strong and (if I may say so) very attractive! I can't believe how fast they grow. I guess they always did, but as they broke so easily I never realised it! "
