Force of Nature: Nail Art Tutorials Part 1
We've curated 6 designs using colours from The Force of Nature Collection to bring you a little autumn/ winter inspiration with easy to achieve looks. The first three are showcased below.
Follow the simple steps and videos below to recreate these designs.
Asteroid
- Apply a base layer of Bayou Bay as normal & cure fully. Do not wipe.
- Using an applicator sponge, press Asteroid Flakes onto the entire surface of the nail. Making sure none of the flakes are sticking up and there is a smooth surface.
- Dust away any loose flakes using a fluffy brush.
- Seal in your design with a final layer of clear gel. We've used Gel&Go 2in1 Base & Top Coat.
Double French
- Apply your French base colour as normal and cure fully. We've used Gel&Go Je T'aime.
- Using a striping nail art brush, create a French tip using Elderberry. Flash cure your first layer on all fingers. Once the base has been cured fully, repeat for second layer
- Using a clean striping nail art brush, create a line just underneath the Elderberry using Golden in Design Gel and cure for 1 minute.
- Finish your design by applying a layer of Gel&Go 2in1 Base & Top Coat.
Easy Autumn Florals
- Apply a base layer of Natural Beauty as normal & cure fully.
- Remove the sticky residue using GUARD and wait for it to dry.
- Using tweezers, place flowers from the Hot Berry Floral Decals onto the surface of the gel. Once happy with the placement, press any air bubbles out of the stickers using a rubber end tool. Make sure none of the edges of the decals are sticking up.
- To seal in the decals and finalise your design, finish with a layer of clear gel to smooth and seal in your design. We've used Gel&Go 2in1 Base & Topcoat.
